St. Mary's Hales Corners Tournament

Our 5th Grade Girls are participants in the St. Mary's Hales Corners Basketball Tournament!  Their schedule is posted on the link below, please come out and cheer them on!

Game 1 - Thursday, 2/27 - 8:00pm @ vs. St. Leonard Gold played at St. John the Evangelist

St. Leonard Gold proved to us that they are a real 8-2 in the Parkview league, as they were victorious against our girls in a 19-2 game.  Despite St. Leonards being one of the best teams we've seen all year, our girls were also introduced to a new set of rules, as this is their first game vs. a Parkview League opponent.  As all games have been this year, this one goes down as a good learning experience.

Game 2 - Friday, 2/28 - 6:15pm @ vs. St. Mary Blue

Our girls adjusted well from their first game, however just couldn't get some shots to fall.  They also had to deal with a strong defense from St. Mary Blue as they fell to them by a 14-2 score.

Game 3 - Sunday, 3/1 - 12:00pm @ vs. St. Mary White

 WIN!!!

CONGRATULATIONS 5TH GRADE GIRLS!!!  There's something to be said for never giving up, as our girls earned their first WIN of the year by defeating St. Mary White by a score of 22-18.  This is a great win for the team as it came during their last game of the year during the final day of a tournament.  Congratulations girls and coaches, all the hard work finally paid off!
