St. Matthew's is blessed with tremendous volunteers that help keep numerous programs up and running through our School and our Parish.  To assure that we continue to grow and to better ouserlves as a community and enhance the programs that we can offer, we are always in need of volunteers throughout the year.  Here are a few upcoming opportunities where volunteers will have a direct reflection to the success of the event.  Please contat any Athletic Association member if you are interested in volunteering to help St. Matthew Athletics!

FALL SOCCER SEASON CONCESSION STAND

  -The Bay View Parochial Soccer League operates 1/2 their games on the grounds of St. Matthews!  During fall weekends our grounds are bustling with kids playing soccer as teams from area Catholic parishes head towards St. Matthews for their league games.  Throughout the day, our concession stand is always very busy as we offer drinks, nachos, hot pretzels, candy, and grilled food.  Our concession stand is run by volunteers, and is essential to soccer at St. Matthews.  3 hours of volunteering in the concession stand will go by much quicker than you would think, and your time provides an invaluable return to St. Matthews Athletics.  You also meet and work with fellow parents with many similar interests as yourself.

COACHING

- Coaches are always needed to help make our student-athletes better.  If you are interested in coaching please contact any member of the SMPAA.

COORDINATOR POSITION

- The SMPAA has many coordiantor positions available.  These positions are for those that do not want to be on the Board or lead people.  These positions allow you to focus on one area that needs attention for the Athletic Association.  Positions include but are not limited to Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Uniforms, Volunteers, Web Site and much more.
